Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
It is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 7m. The cells of the pointed leaves contain the oil that has great medicinal use. The bark of the tree is papery and layered and the flowers are white and spiky. Tea tree is native to Queensland and Northern New South Wales, Australia. A bottle of tea tree oil can be found in almost every Australian household.
